The Belton, Grandview and Kansas City Railroad Co. is an all volunteer organization, from the Ticket Agent to the Engineer to the volunteer Board of Directors.
The Belton Grandview and Kansas City Railroad Co. is always looking for volunteers to help with the jobs listed above, as well as Diesel engine mechanics (EMD as well as Detroit Diesel), gasoline engine mechanics, groundskeepers, gardeners, Docents, track repair crew, gift shop sales, rolling equipment carmen, signalman, etc.
If you have an interest in volunteering with the organization, please speak with one of our volunteers and ask for a volunteer application.
Please note: Per Federal Law, safety sensitive positions require a pre-"employment" (VOLUNTEER) drug screening. At this point that would cover Engineer, Conductor and Signalman.
